Our take
I bought these out of nostalgia. The persimmon heads have a beautiful grain, and they hit surprisingly well if you catch the sweet spot. The steel shafts are stiff—some flex variation across the set. They're not forgiving like modern drivers, but for the collector or purist, they're a fun addition. The 2-drivers are unusual. For $49, you get four classic clubs. They show some wear, but that's expected. Good conversation pieces, but not for regular play if you want forgiveness.
