About this product
The PowerBilt EX-550 Hybrid Iron Set is a women's right-handed set of eight clubs, including 4-iron through pitching wedge plus a sand wedge. The set features graphite shafts with a lady flex, designed for lighter swing weights and increased swing speed. The hybrid-style irons combine the forgiveness of hybrids with the control of irons, making them suitable for a range of skill levels.
Our take
This set is tailored for women golfers, especially those who struggle with long irons. The hybrid design in the 4-iron and potentially others offers higher launch and more forgiveness, which can boost confidence and consistency. The lady flex graphite shafts are lightweight, helping to generate clubhead speed without sacrificing control. Compared to a traditional iron set, this provides more playability from the rough and on mis-hits. However, the set stops at SW, so you'll need a lob wedge separately if desired. The right-handed orientation is a limitation for left-handed players.
